Mindfulness Meditation is simple and subtle. To be successful at it, it is beneficial to participate in a weekly class with the personal attention of an experienced live instructor.

This course is will introduce you, step by step, to learning about mindfulness as well as doing it. You’ll learn fundamental meditation techniques including the body scan, mindfulness of breathing, walking meditation and more.

By gently training your mind and body in peace and simplicity, you’ll come to experience the benefits of greater relaxation, lower stress, increased clarity and general well-being.

Each weekly session includes guided meditation, talks, and discussion.

Join Kristin for a trip of a lifetime in Northern Iceland to explore one of the most beautiful and peaceful places on earth. This is highly curated experience will be both an inner exploration through yoga and meditation, and an outer exploration of a wonderland of moonlike lava fields, snow capped volcanic peaks and geothermal hot springs at 66 degrees North, just south of the arctic circle.

Otherwordly Iceland will be the backdrop for this spectacular week with sun during the day and bright moonlit nights providing fascinating light shows–including a possible mystic dance of the Northern Lights. The cold outside is balanced beautifully by the hot geothermal baths and Jacuzzis that is a national past-time of the warm and adventurous Icelandic people.

In this majestic and tranquil landscape, morning yoga classes will be followed by group excursions and explorations.

As experienced meditators will tell you, the skill of meditation is not something easily accomplished by reading about it in a book or attending a single introductory talk. Meditation is both simple and subtle and asks us to patiently re-train our bodies and minds in peace and simplicity. It is something that takes practice. Developing a practice, it helps to have the support of a live instructor, the opportunity to practice, ask questions and learn from experience. 

The purpose of this course is to introduce the fundamental techniques of meditation and stress reduction in a structured 8-week program. Topics covered in this introductory series include:

  • The purpose of meditation
  • How it works
  • Relaxation
  • Training in attention
  • Awareness of Breathing
  • Common challenges and remedies
  • Benefits of the practice

Each weekly meeting will include guided meditation, talks, and discussion.  The class format is set up to provide opportunity for personal guidance from a qualified teacher as well as for sharing experiences with others in the class. Seating options include chairs or meditation cushions. 

For those relatively new to meditation, this is the place to start.

7th Annual Dan's Down Dog and Dash

Dan’s Down Dog and Dash is a Yoga and 5k event in the heart of Wayne Pennsylvania. It is a celebration of community, movement and fun. This race honors Dan Schultz, whose fight against cancer and approach to life emphasized the importance of surrounding yourself with a wonderful community, remaining mentally fit and maintaining physical activity.  Proceeds from this event will benefit For Pete’s Sake, the Schultz Kids Education Fund, as well as other organizations and causes near and dear to our hearts. Dan’s Down Dog and Dash is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people, “Live Life to the Fullest”!

Whether you’ve never been able to bend over and touch your toes, you’ve never completed a 5K or you’re someone who is looking to work on your speed for your marathon training, please join us for a wonderful community event open to ALL! Dan’s Down Dog and Dash will be a morning of community connection, movement and FUN! We will start with a short yoga session at St. Katherine of Siena, Wayne, PA (No yoga mat required, just a smile) led by Kristin Page, followed by a 5K run/walk.
