I am passionate about living life to the fullest and hope to inspire others to live fully and passionately through teachings of yoga, meditation, and mental health advocacy. I am Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Masters program in Mental Health Counseling. I also have advanced training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and a variety of mindfulness practices. I have experience working with clients of diverse backgrounds, ages, and presenting problems. I work with individuals, private and public corporations, sports teams, and lead transformational workshops and international yoga and meditation retreats. I was named “Best Yoga Teacher” on the Main Line and is the founder of Dan’s Down Dog and Dash, a local yoga and run community event that raises money for families dealing with cancer. Dan’s Down Dog and Dash has been named one of the top 10 things to do in Philly by Philadelphia Magazine. 

I began my yoga journey in my early 20’s. I injured my back and a physical therapist suggested yoga. After attending my first yoga class, I never looked back. I am a 500 hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher. I have practiced and studied meditation, including an intensive two year Meditation Teacher Training, with Scott and Nancy McBride of Clearlight Meditation Institute where I am now a faculty member. I wors with Minding Your Mind as a Program Facilitator for Mindfulness in schools and workplaces.

A Yoga and 5k community event

Dan’s Down Dog and Dash is a Yoga, 5k and Fun Run event in the heart of Wayne, Pennsylvania. It is a celebration of community, movement and fun.  This race honors Dan Schultz, whose fight against cancer and approach to life emphasized the importance of surrounding yourself with a wonderful community, remaining mentally fit, and maintaining physical activity.  Proceeds from Dan's Dash benefit For Pete’s Sake, the Schultz Kids Education Fund, as well as other organizations and causes near and dear to our hearts.
