About Simon’s Heart:
Phyllis and Darren Sudman lost their seemingly healthy three month old son to an undetected heart condition. Simon’s Heart (previously Simon’s Fund) was born to raise awareness about the warning signs and conditions that lead to sudden cardiac arrest and death in children. The organization provides free heart screenings, advocates for legislation to protect student athletes, distributes AED devices through its crowdfunding site, gives away data to qualified researchers, free of charge, through its digital registry, launches exciting campaigns and partnerships with sports teams and corporations, and educates families about the warning signs and conditions that lead to sudden cardiac arrest and death in children.
